Soto Ayam lobak
simple chicken soup with turnip

1/2 chicken
2000 ml chicken stock (see recipe)
6 cloves garlic
3 lemongrass stalks
3 jeruk purut
2 cm jahe
100 g turnip / daikon
1/2 tsp salt
1 spring onion
2 tbsp Bawang Goreng
100g fried soybeans
2 stalks celery
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 16 pieces, the spring onion fine and hop the garlic. Cut the celery finely and turnips into pieces. Heat in a pan the broth and cook the chicken until nearly done. Add the garlic, lemon grass, the jeruk purut and jahe and cook it for 3 minutes. Add the turnips and cook until tender. Then add the salt, pepper and spring onions and stir well. Sprinkle the bawang goreng on top and serve it with the fried soy beans and celery.
