Kailan Tumis Udang
stir-fry of kailan with shrimp
250 gr kailan (Chinese broccoli)
150 gr shrimp
4 cloves of garlic
2 red cabai keriting (curly cayenne pepper)
1 tsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
50 ml water
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp oil
Cut the kailan into pieces. Peel the shrimp but leave the tail. Finely chop the garlic and cut the keriting into thin rings.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the garlic with the keriting for 2 minutes. Then add the shrimp and fry until they change color. Mix in the kailan and fry until soft.
Then add the fish sauce, salt and palm sugar and mix well. Then add the water and the sesame oil and cook until done and until the moisture has been absorbed.
