Sayur Gori
spiced stewed nangka with beef

500 gr nangka / jackfruit
150 gr brisket
1000 ml of water
3 red lomboks
3 green lomboks
2 salam leaf
3 cm lengkuas / galangal
1 tsp salt
2 tsp palmsugar
1 tsp pepper
500 ml coconut milk (of 1/2 coconut)

4 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
4 kemiri nuts
1 tsp ketumbar, roasted
1 tsp terasi / trasi bakar

Cara membuat:
Cut the nangka into pieces of 2 cm. Cut the meat into pieces and the lomboks into thin rings. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan the water and add the meat and cook it nearly done. Then add the nangka and cook it semi-cooked.
Then add the lomboks, the salam, the laos and the bumbu and cook for 5 minutes.
Then add the coconut milk, the salt, the palmsugar and the pepper and cook over the low heat until it done. Serve.
