Bengkoang Kacang Panjang Tumis Tauco
stir-fry of long beans and jicama
250 gr kacang panjang / garter / snake beans
250 gr bengkoang / jicama / yam bean
5 garlic cloves
3 red chilies
2 salam leaves
3 cm galangal / laos
1 tbsp taoco
1 teaspoon salt
1 tsp palsmuiker
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoons of water
2 tbsp oil
Cut the garlic and shallots in thin slices, the garter into pieces of 5 cm, and the jicama into thin strips. Cut the lomboks in oblique rings.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the shallots, garlic, chilies, the salam and galangal for 3 minutes. Add the taoco and mix well. Then add the jicama and the garter and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the pepper, the salt and the sugar palm. Mix well and fry for another 3 minutes. Then add the water and put a lid on the pan and let it simmer for 3 minutes until everything is cooked.
