Sayur Godog Betawi
in coconut milk stewed vegetables

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
1 labu siam / chayote
150g garter / snakebeans
150g carrot
1/4 cabbage
250g prawns
2000 ml of coconut milk
1 tomato
2 red chilies
3 cm laos
1 tablespoon salt
2 tbsp palm sugar
4 jeruk purut
4 salam leaves
2 stalks lemongrass
2 tablespoons oil
 
Haluskan:
bumbu:
8 red chilies
7 shallots
6 cloves garlic
3cm jahe
3cm kunyit
1 tbsp ebi, soaked and roasted
1 tsp ketumbar
 
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Cut the garter into pieces, carrot, chayote and cabbage julliene. Cut the tomatoes into pieces and the chilies into strips. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste with the lemongrass, the salam, the jeruk purut, the laos, the chilies and tomatoes for 5 minutes. Add the coconut milk and bring to a boil and add the salt and palm sugar. Add the beans, carrot, cabbage and the chayote and cook it gently for 15 minutes. Add the prawns and simmer gently until the shrimp are cooked (2-3 minutes)
