Sayur Bayam Ayam
Spicy spinach with chicken

2 bunches bayam (250g spinach)
2 chicken thighs
200g carrots
2 cm temu kunci / fingerroot
1 red tomato
5 shallots
4 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2500 ml water
1 tbsp oil
Cara membuat:
Cut the Bayam into pieces and the chicken into parts. Cut the carrots into strips, the tomato into wedges and the shallots and garlic into thin slices.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the shallots, garlic and fingerroot for 4 minutes. Add the water and bring to a boil. Add the chicken, carrots and the tomato and cook it tender. Add the bayam, salt and pepper and cook slowly until done.
