Grilled tilapia with a red coconutmilk sauce

1000 gr tilapia
1 tsp asem (tamarind)
1 tbsp water
175 ml santen (cocnut milk)
3 tbsp oil

5 red lomboks
6 shallots
6 cloves garlic
6 kemiri (candle nuts)
2 cm kencur
1 cm jahe (ginger)
1 tbsp palmsugar
1/2 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Roast the shallots, the kencur, the jahe and the candlenuts . Pound or grind the ingredients for th bumbu fine into a paste. Mix the asem with the water. Grill/Rost the tilapia slowly above a charcoal fire for 20 minutes until done. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the santen and the asem water and let it cook slowy until it thickens. Pour the sauce on top of the fish and serve.
