Lawa Gamai
tiger prawns/shrimp with seaweed
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
12 tiger prawns/shrimp
400 gr samphire/wakame
250 gr grated coconut
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
oil

5 red rawits

Clean the shrimp/prawns but leave the tail on. Keep the heads and the shells. Cut the spring onion and the samphire into pieces. Dry roast the coconut in a pan until golden brown and set aside. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat 5 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the heads and shells for 5 minutes. Then remove it from the pan. Then add the prawns and cook until they change color and set aside.
Then add the bumbu and fry it for 5 minutes. Add the palm sugar, pepper and salt and mix well.
Then add the coconut, the samphire and the shrimps and fry until done. Sprinkle the spring onion on top and serve.
