Ayam Panggang Gorontalo
roasted chicken from Sulawesi

1 chicken
1 lime, juice
2 serai / sereh / lemongrass
400 ml of water
2 tbsp kecap manis
1 tsp palmsugar

3 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
10 red lomboks
4 kemiri nuts, roasted
3 cm jahe
1 tbsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 4 pieces and rub it in with the lime juice and let it stand for at least 20 minutes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan the water together with the chicken, the bumbu and the serai and bring to the boil on low heat. Then add the kecap and the palm sugar and cook the chicken until tender. Remove the chicken from the pan and roast it over a charcoal fire until brown. Bask with the sauce regularly while roasting.
