Ikan Tenggiri Kuah Sumpu
mackerel stewed in a spiced sauce

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
600 gr mackerel
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp lime juice
4 serai/sereh/lemon grass, white part
15 jeruk purut leaves
1/2 kunyit leaf
2 asam kandis
200 gr cassava leaf
800 ml coconut milk (from 1 coconut)
water

Haluskan:
bumbu:
7 red rawits
4 cm kunyit
2 cm jahe
11 cloves of garlic
1 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Preparation:
Clean the fish and cut it into 4 slices. Rub the fish with the salt and lime juice and set aside. Heat water in a pan and cook the cassava leaves until tender. Drain and squeeze out the moisture. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan the coconut milk together with the bumbu, the serai, the jeruk purut and the kunyit leaf and bring it to the boil while stirring and cook it for 4 minutes.
Then add the fish and asam kandis and cook the fish until done. Then add the cassava leaves and cook until the oil is released. Serve.
