Pindang Udang Kacang Panjang
stewed shrimp/prawns with snake beans

400 gr shrimp/prawns
4 snake beans
7 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
2 salam leaves
2 cm lengkuas / galangal
1 cm jahe
4 cm kunyit, roasted
4 green tomants
2 red lomboks
2 green lomboks
1 1/2 tbsp kecap manis
3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
3 tsp asam water
1250 ml of water

Cara membuat:
Clean the shrimp/prawns and slice in their backs. Roast the shallots and garlic first and then pound or grind them coarsely. Cut the tomatoes into pieces, the lomboks in rings of 2 cm and the snake beans in pieces of 3 cm.
Heat in a pan the water and add the shallots, the garlic, the salam, the laos, the jahe and the kunyit and bring to the boil. Then add the shrimp/prawns and cook until they change colour.
Then add the snake beans, the tomatoes and the lomboks and mix well. Then add the kecap, the salt and the palmsugar and cook until done. Then mix in the asam water and serve.
