Tenggiri Masak Taoco
fried mackerel with taotjo / tauco

500 gr mackerel fillet
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp salt
5 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
2 cm jahe
2 salam leaves
1 sereh / lemongrass
1 cm laos
3 green lomboks / large chilies
3 tbsp taoco / taotjo
2 tbsp kecap asin
1/4 tsp fish sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
100 ml of water

Cara Membuat:
Cut the fish into cubes of 3x3x3 cm and marinate with the salt and the lime juice for at least 15 minutes. Cut the shalots and garlic into thin slices and lomboks in slanted rings. Grate the laos. Heat in a pan sufficient oil and fry the fish golden brown and set aside.
Heat in a pan 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the shallots, garlic, laos, sereh, salam, jahe and lomboks for 4 minutes. Then add the tauco and mix well. Then add the fish with the kecap, the fish sauce and the pepper and mix well. Then add the water and simmer it slowly until the moisture has evaporated.
