Kerang Rebung Sauce Pedas
clams cooked in a spicy sauce

500g clams / mussels 
150 gr bamboo shoots
2 jeruk purut / kaffir lime
1 onion
1 tomato
3 tbsp sauce tomat (ketchup)
1 tbsp saus sambal (chilli sauce)
350 ml chicken stock (see recipe)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1 spring onion
1 tbsp oil
2 red chilies
2 red rawits
3 cloves garlic
Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the bamboo shoots into thin strips, the onions, the tomatoes into small cubes and spring onion finely.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste with the jeruk purut, onion and tomato for 4 minutes. Add the mussels / clams and bamboo shoots and mix well. Then add the sauce sambal sauce tomato, salt, pepper and the palm sugar followed by the broth and mix well. Cook slowly until done, then add the spring onion and serve.
