chicken stew with jackfruit stew

1 chicken (1000 gr)
250 gr jackfruit
4 salam leaves
1 tsp ketunbar (coriander)
1 tsp jinten (cumin)
4 tbsp palmsugar
500 ml santen
2 tsp asem
5 cm laos (galangal)
1250 ml water
2 eetl olie

6 shallots
10 kemiri (candlenuts)
11 cloves garlic

Cara membuat;
Slice the jackfruit into 3 cm long pieces. Cut the chicken into pieces. Heat in a pan 250 ml water and add the jackfruit and cook it tender. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a wok the oil and fryt the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the salam, the laos and the chicken and fry it until the chicken is brown. Add the water together with the palmsugar, the jinten, the ketumbar and the asem. Add the jackfruit and let it simmer slowly until its done. Add 5-7 minutes before its cooked the santen.
