Acar Kuning Bandang Pedas
fish in spicy yellow sauce

1000 gr fish
2 chinese chives
6 red rawits
10 sprigs of chives
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp vinegar
250 ml water
Bumbu perendam:
Ingredients marinade:
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp ketumbar
1 tsp salt
100 ml of water
1 tbsp asemwater
3 shallots
3 cloves garlic
3 candlenuts
2 cm kunyit
Cara membuat:
Cut the fish into 4 pieces, halve the rawits and cut the Chinese chives into small pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste and the ingredients for the marinade fine.
Marinate the fish with the marinade and let it rest for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until cooked. Heat in a pan 2 tbsp oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the rawits and chives and mix well. Then add the water, salt and palm sugar and bring to a boil. Add the fish with the vinegar and Chinese chives, mix well and serve.
