Ikan Layur Masak Balada
fried mackerel in spicy sauce

2 layur or mackerel
1/2 teaspoon lime juice
1/2 tsp salt
1 salam leaf
1 lemongrass stalk
2 jeruk purut
1 tomaa
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palsmuiker
4 tablespoons water
5 red chilies
4 red rawits
5 shallots
Cara membuat:
Carve the fish in and marinate it with the lime juice and salt and let it rest for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish brown.
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste and cut the tomatoes finely. Heat in a pan 2 tbsp oil and fry the paste with the salam, the lemongrass and jeruk purut for 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and fry them gently. Add the fish, salt and palm sugar and stir well. Mix the water through it and let it simmer slowly until the sauce has thickened.
