spicy fish in a lightly sour sauce from the Moluccas

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
500g mackerel
1 tsp asem / tamarind
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp water
3 tbps oil
6 belimbing wuluh / star fruit
15 red rawits
1 pandan leaf
200 ml water
 
Haluskan:
bumbu:
5 shallots
1/2 tsp pepper
3 cm kunyit
2 stalks lemongrass
1 tsp salt
 
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Clean the fish and carve it on both sides. Mix the asem with the salt and the water and marinate the fish for at least 30 minutes.
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the pandan leaves into 2 cm pieces and the belimbing into 8 pieces.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the water and bring to a boil. Add the fish, the belimbing, the rawits and pandan leaf and slowly cook until done.
