Dara Kerang Rebus Sambal Kacang
stewed mussels / clams with peanut sauce

1000 gr mussels / clams
3 jeruk purut
2 salam leaves
1cm jahe
1cm kunyit
1/2 tsp salt
500 ml of water
Bahan Sambal Kerang
sambal sauce ingredients
100g peanuts
3 red rawits
1 red chilies
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
200 ml water
Cara membuat:
Heat in a pan the water along with the mussels, the jeruk purut, the salam, the jahe
and the salt and cook until tender. Drain.
cooking sauce:
Pound or grind the peanuts, the rawits, the lombok, the garlic with water until smooth. Then add salt and pepper and cook the sauce. Stir in the vinegar.
Spoon the mussels on a plate and pour the sauce over and serve.
