Belut Cabai hijau
fried eel in green chile sauce

500g eel
2 tsp salt
1 tsp lemon juice
2 salam leaves
4 jeruk puru leaves
1 lemongrass stalk
4 green tomatoes
1/2 tsp palm sugar
200 ml water
1 tbsp asemwater
2 cm laos
7 shallots
13 green chilies
5 green rawits
Cara membuat:
Cut the eel into pieces of 5 cm and marinate it with lemon juice and 1 1/2 tsp of salt for 20 minutes. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the eel and remove the skin.
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu to a coarse paste. Heat in a pan 3 tbsp oil and fry the paste with the salam, the jeruk purut and lemongrass for 5 minutes. Cut the tomatoes into small wedges and add them and cook for 2 minutes. Add the eel, 1/2 teaspoon salt, palm sugar and stir well. Then add water and cook until the sauce has thickened. Mix in the asemwater and serve.
