Daging Kuah Kemiri
beef stew in a kemiri sauce

200 gr beef (shank)
150 gr potatoes
2 cm of cinnamon
2 salam leaf
3 serai / sereh / lemongrass, white part
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1000 ml coconut milk (from 1 coconut)
5 tbsp oil

9 shallots
7 cloves of garlic
6 kemiri/candlenuts, roasted
1 tsp ketumbar
3 red lomboks
2 cm jahe
2 cm lengkuas / galangal

Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu together with the cinnamon, the salam and the serai for 7 minutes. Then add the meat and cook until it changes color.
Then add the potato, salt, pepper and palm sugar and mix well. Then add the coconut milk and cook slowly until done.
