In fact originally from the Bango website which has many original recipes on it.
Strange. The same recipe appears here from 2015: https://merahputih.com/post/read/garu-balanga-kuliner-khas-ternate-yang-menggugah-selera pretty much word for word, I thought you stated that all your recipes are original and not taken from other blogs on the web?

Roast the ingredients for the sambal first (except the salt and palm sugar). Then pound or grind the ingredients into a paste. Set aside. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat in a pan the water together with the meat and the jahe and cook the meat almost done. Remove the meat from the pan and cut it into slices and flatten it. Keep 600 ml of the broth.
Heat in a pan the broth together with the bumbu, the salam, the salt and the palmsugar and cook the meat over low heat until done and until the liquid has nearly evaporated.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat until brown and serve it with the sambal.
