Daging Kuning Jeruk
stewed beef in yellow fragrant sauce

500 gr beef (shank)
2 cm laos
2 sereh / lemongrass
2 salam leaves
15 jeruk purut leaves
2000 ml of water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp pepper

5 kemiri/candlenuts
3 cm kunyit
4 shallots
4 cloves of garlic

Cara Membuat:
Cut the meat into pieces and chop the jeruk purut leaves finely (first remove the vein). Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Mix in a pan the water, the meat, the bumbu, the laos, the salam and the jeruk purut leaves and bring to the boil. Then add salt, pepper and palm sugar and cook it until done and until the sauce thickens.
