Buntut Asem Pedas
oxtail in spicy slightly acidic sauce

750 g oxtail
3 cloves garlic
1 shallot
2 cm jahe
1 green bell pepper
150 gr pineapple
1 tbsp oyster sauce
3 tbsp sambal sauce (see recipe)
3 tbsp tomat sauce (see recipe)
1 tsp palsmuiker
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1000 ml water
1 lemon, juice
2 tablespoons oil
Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into pieces, chop the garlic and shallot finely and slice the peppers and the pineapple into pieces.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the garlic, shallots along with the jahe for 2 minutes. Add the peppers and fry for 1 minute. Add the meat and fry it brown. Then add the oyster sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, palm sugar, salt and pepper and mix well. Then slowly add the water and cook until tender. Spoon in the pineapple and lemon juice and serve.
