fried meat with vegetables in spicy sauce

500g beef
1/4 cabbage
2 salam leaves
2 tbsp palm sugar
1cm asam / tamarind
2 cm laos
1 tsp salt
400ml coconut milk
200ml beef stock
1 tbsp oil
4 shallots
4 cloves garlic
2 tsp ketumbar
1 tsp salt
Cara membuat:
Cut the meat into thin strips and the cabbage into strips. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat the broth in a saucepan and add the meat and cook it. Remove the meat from the pan and leave behind 250 ml stock. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the meat, galangal and the salam and mix well. Add the santen and broth and bring to a boil. When the liquid is reduces by half add the kecap, the asem and the palm sugar followed by the cabbage. Cook until done and serve.
