Pindang tulang iga Cabai rawit
braised beef and ribs in sour sauce from Palembang

500 gr beef ribs
200g beef
6 red rawits
2 salam leaves
2 stalks lemongrass
2 tomatoes
1 tsp kecap manis
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
2 tbsp asemwater
1500 ml water
2 tablespoons oil
6 shallots
3 cloves garlic
2 red lomboks
2 cm kunyit
2 cm jahe
2 cm laos
Cara membuat:
Cut the meat and the tomatoes into pieces. Heat in a pan the water and cook the meat in it. Pour off until 1000ml broth remains.
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste with the salam and lemon grass for 3 minutes. Add the rawits whole. Add it in the pan with the meat and add the tomatoes, kecap, salt and palm sugar and cook until tender. Spoon in the asemwater and serve.
