Ayam Panggang Sulawesi
grilled chicken sulawesi style

1 chicken
2 lemongrss
8 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
350 ml santen (coconut milk)
1 bunck kemangi (lemon basil)
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp oil

9 shallots
6 cloves garlic
4 red rawits
6 kemeri (candlenuts)
4 cm laos (turmeric)
6 cm jahe (ginger)

Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients fot the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the chicken into pieces. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the bumbu for 5 minutes. Add the sereh, the kemangi and the jeruk purut and fry it for 3 minutes more.
Add the santen and the salt and let it simmer slowly for 10 minutes. Add the chicken and let it cook slowly for 35 minutes. Romeove the chicken and roast it for 5 minutes above a charcoal fire. Let the sauce thickens and pour it over the chicken and serve.
