Bebek Asam Pedas
Duck in a hot and sourly sauce
Bahan-bahan:
Ingredients:
800 gr duck
3 tsp asam (tamarind)
3 cm kunyit (turmeric)
2 tbsp kecap inggris (Worcestershire sauce)
300 ml water
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
Haluskan:
Bumbu:
5 dried lomboks
5 cloves garlic
8 shallots
1 cm jahe (ginger)

Preparation/method:
Cut the duck in 4 parts. Grind the kunyit fine. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Then add the duck and fry it for 1 minute. Add the kunyit and the kecap followed by the water and the asam. Let it cook slowly for 60 minutes until its cooked and done and serve.
