1 chicken
500 ml water
2 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
1 salam leaf
2 sereh (lemongrass)
1 cm laos (galangal)
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp palmsugar
2 tbsp oil

5 red shallots
3 cloves garlic
3 kemiri (candlenuts)
1 cm kunyit (turmeric)
1 tsp ketumbar (coriander)
1 cm jahe (ginger
1 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Slice the chicken into 4 pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the jeruk purut, the salam, the sereh and the laos. Then add the chicken and fry it golden bronw. Add the lime juice, the palsmsugar and the water and cook the chicken nearly done. Roast the chicken above a charcoal fire until done under continuous sprinkling of the remaining sauce.
