Ayam Masak Tauco
chicken in yellow bean sauce

1 chicken
2 onions
5 cloves garlic
3 tbsp tauco (yellow beans)
1 tsp palmsugar
2 cm jahe (ginger)
2 tbsp kecap manis
1 red lombok
1 tsp asem (tamarind)
250 ml water
2 tbsp oil

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into pieces. Pound or grind the garlic and the tauco fine nto a paste. Pound or grind the lombok and the jahe fine into a paste. Slice the onions fine. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the onions for 1 minute. Add the garlic and the tauco followed by the chicken. Add the kecap and the remaining ingredients and let it simmer covered for 45 minutes. Remove the lid and let it simmer for 5 mor minutes until the sauce has thickened, then serve.
