Ayam Masak Santan Pedas
chicken in a spicy fragrant sauce

1 chicken
2 green lomboks
2 red lomboks
2 salam leaves
5 jeruk purut leaves
2 cm jahe
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp palm sugar
2 tbsp asam water
200 ml of water
500 ml coconut milk (from 1 coconut)
3 tbsp oil

7 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
5 kemiri/candlenuts, toasted
1 cm kunyit, toasted
5 red lomboks
5 red rawits
1 tsp ketumbar

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Cut the lomboks into oblique rings. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bumbu for 5 minutes. Add the lomboks, the salam, the jeruk purut and the jahe and fry until soft.
Then add the chicken and fry it until it changes color. Then add the water and cook the chicken. Then add the coconut milk, the salt, the pepper, the palm sugar and the asam water and cook until tender and until the sauce thickens.
