Ayam Taoco
fried drumsticks in spicy sauce
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
8 drumsticks
6 shallots
5 cloves garlic
4 red lomboks (large chilies)
3 cm jahe (ginger)
1 tbsp asem (tamarind)
5 tbsp water
3 tbsp taoco
1 tbps palmsugar (gula jawa)
3 tbsp oil
Cara membuat:

Pound or grind the shallots, the garlic, the jahe and the lomboks into a paste (bumbu). Mix the asem with the water. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the drumsticks golden brown. Remove the meat. Add the bumbu together with the taoco, the asemwater and the palmsugar and bring it to boil. Then add the drumsticks and let it simmer slowly and covered for 35 minutes.
