sweet fried chicken with potato
4 cloves of garlic
7 kecap manis
2 tbsp asam water
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
750 ml of water
Cut the shallots and garlic into thin slices. Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Cut the potatoes into 6 wedges. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until crispy and set aside.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the shallots, garlic and mace for 5 minutes. Then add the chicken and mix well. Fry the chicken until it changes color.
Then add the kecap, nutmeg, pepper, salt and asam water and mix well. Then add the water and bring to the boil. Then cook it on low heat until the chicken is half done. Then add the potatoes and cook until tender and until the sauce thickens. Serve.
