Satai Ayam Bumbu Rujak
satay of spiced chicken

2 chicken filet
150 ml thick coconut milk (kental)
3 tbsp kecap manis
1 tbsp asam water
3 jeruk purut leaves
1 serai / sereh / lemongrass
2 cm jahe
satay skewers

6 shallots
6 cloves of garlic
6 red lomboks
5 red rawits
1 tsp terasi / trasi bakar
1 tsp salt

Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste.
Heat in a pan the coconut milk together with the bumbu, the kecap, the asam water, the jeruk purut, the serai and the jahe and cook until the sauce has thickened.
Then mix in the meat and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes. Then put the meat onto the skewers.
Roast the satay over a charcoal fire until brown and done and baste it regularly with the marinade.
