Ayam Panggang Kecap
chicken in sweet/sour kecapsauce

1 chicken
2 shallots
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp kecap manis
1 tsp palmsugar
1 tbsp lime juice
100 ml water
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Cara membuat:
Cleave the chicken en rub it in with pepper and salt. Slice the shallots and the garlic fine. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the shallots and the garlic for 2 minutes. Then add the kecap, the palmsugar, the lime juice and the water. Add the chicken and let it simmer covered for 60 minutes. If needed add some water and kecap. Roast the chicken for 15 minutes on een charcoalfire and cut it into pieces. Pour the sauce on top and serve.
