Ayam Goreng Kemangi
fried chicken with lemon basil

1 chicken
500 ml of water
3 sprigs kemangi
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp kecap manis
100 gr kemangi (lemon basil)

4 cm kunyit
8 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
4 red rawits
3 cm jahe

Cara Membuat:
Cut the chicken into 30 pieces and pluck the kemangi leaves. Roast the kunyit and pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the water together with the chicken, the bumbu, the kemangi (3 sprigs), the salt, the pepper and the kecap and cook the chicken on low heat until done.
Heat in a pan of sufficient oil and fry the kemangi leaves half dry. Then add the chicken and fry the chicken until brown. Spoon the chicken with the kemangi out of the oil and serve.
