Sate Ayam Ambal Kebumen
Chicken sate from Kebumen

300 gr chicken thights
Sate skewers

5 cloves of garlic, fried
3 cloves of garlic
4 shallots
1/2 tsp ketumbar
2 kemiri/candlenuts
1 cm jahe
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar

Bahan sauce:
Ingredients sauce:
100 gr tempeh
3 red lomboks
1 red rawit
6 cloves of garlic
1 tsp trassi
2 tsp palm sugar
2 tsp salt
100 ml peanuts, fried
2 salam leaves
1 cm laos, grated
450 ml of water
2 tbsp kecap manis
10 gr of asam/tamarind dissolved in 100 ml of water
2 tbsp of oil

Cara Membuat:
Cut the meat into small cubes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Marinate the chicken with the bumbu for at least 60 minutes. Put the chicken on the skewers and roast the sate brown and done above a charcoal fire. Pour the sauce over it and serve.

Preparation sauce:
Pound or grind the tempeh, lomboks, rawit, garlic, trassi, palm sugar and peanuts into a paste. Heat in a pan the oil and fry this together with the laos and the salam for 4 minutes. Add the asamwater and kecap and bring to the boil.
