braised chicken with potatoes

1500 gr of chicken
4 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
4 tbsp oil
4 tbsp tauco
3 tbsp kecap manis
1 tbsp kecap asin
2 tbsp palm sugar
5 potatoes
1 tsp salt
750 ml water

Cara Membuat:
Cut the chicken into 18 pieces. Pound or grind the shallots and garlic into a coarse paste. Cut the potatoes into pieces.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the shallots and garlic for 2 minutes. Then add the tauco, the keacp manis and the palm sugar and stir until the palm sugar is dissolved.
Then add the chicken and the potatoes together with the water and bring to the boil. Let it simmer for 75 minutes and add the salt and the kecap asin and mix well. Simmer for a few minutes more and serve.
