Semur Paha Ayam Bakar
Roasted chicken in fragrant sauce

6 chicken thights
1 lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
4 cm laos
3 salam leaves
600 ml of water
5 tbsp kecap manis
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp oil

6 shallots
5 cloves of garlic
3 kemiri/candlenuts
1 tbsp ketumbar
1 tsp peppercorns
1 tsp salt

2 tablespoons bawang goreng

Cara Membuat:
Marinate the chicken with the lemon juice and salt and let it rest for at least 15 minutes. Roast the kemiri, the ketum bar and the pepper dry in a frying pan. Then pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Grate de laos.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu with the laos and the salam for 4 minutes. Then add the chicken and fry it until the chicken changes colour. Then add the water and the kecap and cook the chicken until almost done. Spoon the chicken from the pan and rub it with the butter.
Roast the chicken over a charcoal fire until golden brown and cooked and put it back into the sauce. Sprinkle the bawang goreng on top and serve.
