Telur Sambal Petis
Eggs in a spicy sauce

6 eggs, hard boiled
1 salam leaf
1 cm laos, grated
4 red lomboks
2 tbsp petis
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp kecap manis
1/2 tsp palm sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
300 ml water
2 tbsp oil

4 cloves of garlic
5 shallots
5 red lomboks

Cara Membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste. Deseed the lomboks and cut into thin oblique sliced rings.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the paste with galangal and salam for 4 minutes. Add the eggs, the chilies, the petis, the kecap, the salt and palm sugar and mix well. Then slowly add the water, while stirring, and slowly cook until done and until the sauce has thickened.
