Soto Padang
meat soup from Padang
Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
750 gr beef
2000 ml water
1 sereh (lemongrass)
4 cloves
4 cardamon pdos
3 star anise
5 jeruk purut / kaffir lime leaves
3 cm laos (galangal)
4 cm jahe (ginger)
1 tsp peper
1 tsp palmsugar
1/2 tsp salt
5 tbsp oil
Haluskan:
bumbu:
7 shallots
6 cloves garlic
1 tbsp ketumbar (coriander)
4 cm kunyit (turmeric)
Taburan:
garnish:
sambal
bawang goreng
lime slices
perkedel kentang
mihun
Cara membuat:
preparation/method:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a wok 2 tbsp oil and fry the bumbu for 3 minutes. Add the water, the beef and the remaining ingredients and let it simmer slowly until the beef is done. Remove the beef and cut in into thin slices. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the beef golden bronw. Put the beef into bowls and pour the soup on top. Garnish it with the sambal, the bawang goreng, the mihun, the kentang and the lime.
