Soto Pekalongan
spicy beef soup fron Pekalongan
Bahan:
ingredients:
500 gr beef
3 tbsp taoco (bean paste)
2 red lomboks
1 tbsp ketumbar (coriander)
4 shallots
4 cloves garlic
3 cm laos
2 salam leaves
1 sereh (lemongrass)
1 srping onion
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1750 ml water

Cara membuat:

Pound or grind the lomboks, the shallots and the garli fine into a paste. Cut the meat into pieces and the spring onion into thin strips. Heat in a pan the water with the meat and let it simmer slowly for 30 minutes. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the paste for 2 minutes and add this to the soup. Add the remaining ingredients and letit simmer slowly until the meat is done. Put some lontong in a soupbowl and laddle the soup on top. Sprinkle some bawang goreng on it and serve.
