Sup Tomat Bola Udang
tomato soup with shrimp balls

1000 gr tomatoes
2 tbsp butter
4 shallots
1 tbsp flour
1 nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp palmsugar
500 ml chickenstock (see recipe)
4 tbsp cream
1500 ml water

Bahan-bahan bola:
ingredients balls:
250 gr shrimps
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp palmsugar


1 sprig parsley

Cara membuat;
Chop the shrimp fine and mix them with the salt, the pepper and the sugar. Form small balls. Heat in a wok the oil and fry the balls brown and drain them on kitchenpaper.
Heat in a pan the water, add the tomatoes and cook them until soft. Drain the tomatoes and let it cool down. Pound or grind the tomatoes into a puree. Cut the shallots into thin slices. Chop the parsley. Heat in a wok the butter and fry the shallots golden brown. Then add the tomato puree, the nutmeg, the palmsugar, the pepper, the salt and the chickenstock and let it cook slowly for 5 minutes. Then stir in the cream and the balls. Garnish it with the parsley and serve.
