Soto Ayam Cilacap
chicken soup from Cilacap

1 chicken
2500 ml water
5 tsp salt
4 tsp palm sugar
6 jeruk purut
3 tbsp oil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
11 cloves garlic
3 cm kunyit
10 red rawit
7 shallots
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp palm sugar
150 ml water
75 soun, soaked
150g cabbage
75g bean sprouts
2 spring onions
Cara membuat:
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and spring onions into pieces. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Heat in a pan 1 tbsp oil and fry the paste with the jeruk purut for 2 minutes. Add the chicken and cook until it changes color. Add the water, salt and palm sugar and cook until chicken is done. Remove the chicken. Heat in a pan 2 tbsp oil and fry the chicken and then shred the chicken.
Put some of the soun, cabbage, bean sprouts, spring onion and chicken in a bowl and pour the broth over it and serve it with the sambal
Pound or grind the rawits, shallots and garlic into a paste. Mix in the salt, palm sugar and water and bring to the boil.
