Oseng Labu siam jagung
braised chayote with corn

200g corn kernels
2 Labu siam (chayote)
100g ikan teri
100ml beef stock (see recipe)
5 shallots
4 cloves garlic
2 red lomboks
2 salam leaves
2 cm laos
2 tbsp kecap asin
Cara membuat:
Cut the chayote into thin strips, the shallots in thin slices​​, the lomboks into rings and chop the garlic fine. Grate the laos. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the ikan teri golden brown and drain.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and sauté the shallots,the garlic, the lomboks, the laos and salam for 3 minutes. Add the chayote and corn, followed by the kecap and the stock and simmer gently until the chayote is cooked. Sprinkle the ikan teri on top and serve.
