Oyong Bumbu Kuah Teri
cucumber and chayote in broth

2 oyong (wing cucumber)
200g labu siam (chayote)
5 cloves garlic
100g fried ikan teri
1 red lombok
1 tomato
750 ml water
750 ml chicken stock (see recipe)
1 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 tsp palm sugar
Cara membuat:
Cut the oyong and chayote into cubes and garlic fine. Deseed the lombok and cut it finely and chop the tomato.
Heat in a pan the water and add the lombok, the oyong and chayote and cook it gently. Then add the garlic and the ikan teri and bring back to the boil. Then add the tomatoes, salt, pepper, the palm sugar and the broth and cook until tender.
