Mangut Ikan Pe
fish with labu siam in coconutmilk

200 gr grilled shark
1 labu siam (chayote)
50 gr snake beans
50 gr melinjo leaves
10 peteh beans (stink beans)
3 greens rawits
5 red rawits
3 cma laos (galangal)
2 salam leaves
200 ml santen asli (thick coconut milk)
300 ml santen cair (thin coconut milk)

5 shallots
3 cloves garlic
2 cm jahe (ginger)
1/2 tsp trasi

Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the labu siam into cubes, the snakebeans into small pieces and the rawits into thin strips. Heat in a wok the santen cair and mix in the bumbu. Add the labu siam and the fish and let it simmer slowly until the labu siam turned soft. Add the remaining ingredients, except the santen asli, and let it simmer until the vegetables are nearly cooked. Add the santen asli and stir it until its done and serve.
