Ikan Kecap
fried fish in a spicy kecap sauce

500 gr fish fillets
3 shallots
4 tbsp asam water
2 tbsp kecap manis
2 tsp palm sugar
2 tbsp oil

3 red lomboks
3 cloves of garlic
2 cm jahe/ginger
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp kencur
4 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Cara membuat:
Cut the shallots into thin slices. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the shallots together with the bumbu for 4 minutes. Then add the fish and fry it for 6 minutes. Then add the asam water, the kecap and the palm sugar and cook over low heat and covered until the fish is done and the sauce has thickened. serve.
