stewed fragrant shrimp/prawns in a dark sauce

250 gr large shrimp/prawns (6 pieces)
300 ml of water
2 tbsp kecap manis
1 tbsp angciu, otherwise mirin or rice wine
1/2 tsp salt
Haluskan:
bumbu:
6 cloves of garlic
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt

Clean the shrimp/prawns and remove the head but leave the tail. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.
Mix the bumbu with the shrimps/prawns and put them in a pan. Then add the kecap, the angciu, the salt and the water and cook the shrimps/prawns over medium heat until done.
Serve with sambal sauce and rice. For 2 portions.
