Sambal Goreng Udang Asam - spicy fried shrimp

Sambal Goreng Udang Asam

Bahan-bahan:
ingredients:
500 gr shrimp
3 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
4 red lomboks
1 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal
1 cm jahe
1 serai/sereh/lemon grass
1 tsp salt
1 tsp palm sugar
5 tbsp asam water
2 tbsp oil
Cara membuat:
preparation:
Clean and peel the shrimp. Then finely chop the shrimp. Cut the shallots, garlic and lomboks into thin slices. Grate the jahe and the lengkuas.
Heat in a pan the oil and fry the shallots, garlic and jahe and fry for 3 minutes. Then add the lomboks, the lengkuas and the serai and mix well. Then add the prawns and fry while stirring until the prawns change colour.
Then add the asam water and cook over low heat until the sauce has thickened and the oil separates. Remove the serai and mix in the salt and palm sugar. serve.
