Bundu Bundu Daging
fried beef with coconut

500 gr beef
200 gr grated coconut
2 jeruk purut/kaffir lime leaves
2 salam leaves
200 ml water
4 eetl oil

1 sereh (lemongrass)
1 tbsp asem (tamarind)
3 cm laos (galangal)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black peppercorns

Cara membuat:
Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu fine into a paste. Cut the meat into pieces. Heat in a pan the water and add the meat and the bumbu and cook the meat tender.
Heat in a wok the oil and fry the meat golden brown. Add the jeruk purut, the salam, the coconut and the cooking fluids and cook it slowly until the fluids have evaporated.
